STREETWEAR
Clothes, design and street fashion are always changing but personally I think there’s one thing that always constant, the ideas and where they come from. Ideas are the first thing that’s needed in design and where urban clothing finds its ideas is on the streets. So streetwear to us is clothing that may not be mainstream, may be emerging, may be new but will always be different not classified in a way that has been yet defined. The street is real mix of things music, dance, street sports, innovation, needs and desires, all these add up to make something special that crosses over to street wear. So lets jump it to The Urban Shop designer collection of street wear clothing companies we supply.

QWST
Since it’s launch in 2005 QWST has produced streetwear based around graphic design, snowboarding and music, QWST represents the individual creativity of the founders and their friends with an aim to produce the perfect fitting streetwear garment with a fresh urban look. QWST creates distinctive streetwear which are sophisticated, smart and functional, using innovative design details, striking graphics and creative construction. From basics like t-shirts to iconic products, like the snowboard jackets designed for slopes or the street, QWST are passionate about great looking, well thought through, quality streetwear.

QWST produces a full men’s streetwear range from fine knit jumpers, cut and sew custom hoodies, crews and t-shirts to basics and of course not forgetting the snowboard technical specifications that they utilize on their jackets making them functional and stylish.

AMBIGUOUS
The Ambiguous Clothing company is a collective of visionary youth, riders, artists and musicians. Ambiguous Clothing originated in the mid nineties on streets of Southern California, and began with an idea of producing quality streetwear clothing that reflected the lifestyle of a young generation. Not wanting to jump into the standard hat, t-shirt company stereotype, the founder Frank Degadillo drew up sketches of jeans and had them produced, thereafter Ambiguous Clothing was born.

While other clothing companies have focused on one image, Ambiguous became a poster for the undefined street wear lifestyle that was at the soul of the youth lifestyle culture. Ambiguous have gathered a devoted group of board riders from Skate and Snow, as well as musicians from different genres and a collective of artists, Illustrators and Graphic Designers. They individually reflect the company, right down to collaborating with the design team on individual designs for new clothing lines.

FENCHURCH
The company behind Fenchurch clothing had a twenty year background in skateboarding, many of the people involved in it had skateboarded, rode BMX, snowboards or just partied down. The idea was to build a British clothing company producing streetwear that they wanted to wear. Fenchurch with its honest background produce a full range of street wear, minimal branding, interesting colours and cuts extra little details, all this at an affordable price.

FLY53R153
Another British company designing street wear, run by a guy who was and still is quite in to a mixture of cheap cider and rough punk rock music (we get on well). Fly53 has it’s become know as is always changing, one season may see stripes the next they are gone, all over print and heavy embroideries, then they are gone, it’s hard to guess what each season will bring with Fly53 clothing except it’s always very nice quality well made streetwear, always lots of detail which is a nightmare for us to try and show and prices are reasonable. Fly street wear has been worn by Brit pop Oasis Liam Gallagher to hip hop underground Blak Twang.

ONE TRUE SAXON
Started life when 3 ex-employees of Paul Smith got together with an idea and vision for men’s clothing. One True Saxon has never been cheap it’s always been of the very highest standard in design, make up and materials used. You only need to look at their jeans all made from have made Japanese denim the buttons on the fly have brass turned shanks for strength, brass rivets reinforce all stress points, just under the fly is a rivet which goes through and reinforces 6 separate pieces of fabric and it goes on 100% cotton herringbone pocket bags do you want more? There is more it goes on and on. One True Saxon has got it self something of a reputation these days and it’s nothing to do with the brand more the people that are wearing it and One True Saxon is being classed by some as terrace wear as it gets worn by football fans up and down the country in fact some towns have banned people entering their establishments if they wear One True Saxon on match days.
