Frank has been writing and performing his work since the age of 14, at which time he became involved in the punk rock movement, and heavily involved with drugs and alcohol. He subsequently developed a heroin addiction which lasted for over 14 years.
His work has taken on a retrospective and confessional emphasis. Frank grew up and went to school during the 1970s and a lot of his work is inspired by, and captures the essence of this period.
He has written and performed in a television play "Frank Finds Out" has published six books of his poetry as well as performing extensively throughout Britain. Including two award wining plays "Plastic Star Fish and the awesome "Requiem For A Dead Skinhead"
That's the official version but Frank met the Big G back in the late 70's and in Franks words, he was in awe of G as he was part of the Derby Punk Elite (if there was such a thing) and on and off they have been close friends ever since the day G took Frank around his house to listen to a new release from Crass called "Feeding the 5000" (now that was a long time ago). Frank and G have tried to get things together but have both never really had time until now so look out for more support for Frank on The Urban Shop coz he's a real mate who's had more than his fair share of problems.
